On this page you will find a PDF of our “Call for Candidates” information packet.  It will answer most of your questions about Raintree and the process itself.

The requirements for applying are found below and on pg. 15 of the packet.  The deadline for applying is December 7th, 2011.  If you receive word of this opening too close to December 7th to apply by the deadline, we would still hope you would e-mail me to find out if we are still taking applications beyond the deadline.

Application Process:

• Pray about it.
• E-mail the following information to Jason Bigham, Search Committee Chair:
              A. Cover letter
              B. Resume
              C. Links to three sermons in consecutive weeks
              D. Completed questionnaire (Download template from this page.)
• Be prepared to interview by phone with the Elders if you progress to the finalist list.

• If you are among our finalists, be prepared to come back to Lubbock (at our expense) with your spouse to preach on a Sunday morning.
• If you are the successful candidate, we would expect your start date to be no later than two months following the affirmation of the congregation as our next Senior Minister.
